What did Greek girls look like 9000 years ago? Scientists have come back to look like men

According to sihai.com, researchers at the University of Athens in Greece have successfully restored the facial features of a 9000 year old Greek girl using 3D printing technology, from which we can infer the appearance of human beings in the Middle Stone Age in 7000 BC. However, from the perspective of restored appearance, such a girl seems to have a bit of a man's meaning!

According to reports, the remains of the young girl were found in a cave in the sasali region of Greece in 1993. She was named 'dawn' because the Mesolithic Age she lived in (between the Paleolithic and Neolithic) was considered the beginning of civilization. However, judging from the recovered face, the girl looked sad and unhappy.

By analyzing the skeleton and teeth of the girl's remains, the researchers concluded that she was between 15 and 18 years old. She has a prominent jaw, which researchers believe was caused by repeated teeth biting on animal fur when making leather in the middle stone age.

According to archaeological analysis, the girl may be anaemic and suffer from scurvy. The evidence also suggests that her hip and joint problems made it difficult for her to walk, which could eventually lead to her death.

The recovery image of the girl is currently on display at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece.
