the world's largest excavator, bagger 288, the world's largest excavator, is produced by Krupp company of Germany. It is 220 meters long and 96 meters high. It covers an area of about 2.5 football fields and weighs 13500 tons. It is a tracked vehicle. It is designed and manufactured for up to five years, and needs five people to operate.
