2186 sheep farted on the plane, causing the plane to make an emergency landing

Singapore's cargo plane carrying 2186 sheep flew from Adelaide, Australia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 26. The smoke alarm on the plane sounded and the plane made an emergency landing to Denpasar, Indonesia, according to foreign media reports. After the cargo plane landed, the security personnel boarded the plane for inspection, but no smoke or fire trace was found. Finally, it was found that it was the waste gas emitted by sheep.

The Singapore Airlines plane, carrying four crew members and more than 2000 sheep, stayed in Indonesia for two and a half hours before the cargo plane continued to take off and finally arrived at its destination. According to Hong Kong media reports, these sheep are prone to flatulence due to tension. Coupled with the change of air pressure when the aircraft takes off, they constantly fart and excrete during the flight, resulting in a large amount of high concentration exhaust gas, which eventually triggers the smoke alarm.

In August this year, another Singapore Airlines plane crashed into the fuselage of storks and was damaged, making an emergency landing. The Boeing 777-200 passenger plane, with 255 passengers and 15 crew members, was originally scheduled to fly from Istanbul to Singapore. Unexpectedly, the plane crashed into storks during takeoff, causing damage to the radome and then made an emergency landing.
