Cape of Good Hope sardine migration and natural enemy's deep sea battle

Sardine migration is one of the most spectacular wonders of nature, according to the daily mail of June 28th. Every year, hundreds of millions of sardine travel from the cold water area near Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, along the eastern coast, all the way north, into the India ocean. During this period, dolphins, whales, sharks and seabirds came to have a good meal. Greg lecoeur, a 37 year old French underwater photographer, came here to record nature's most impressive 'undersea battle'.

During sardine migration, a large number of fish flashed with silver shimmering and formed a dense array to resist natural enemies. But such a huge camp also allows dolphins, whale, sharks and seabirds to enjoy the "sardine feast".

Although the sardine army has been moving forward along the way, the army of the sardines has been making a firm progress, stretching 2 miles (about 3.2 kilometers), 130 feet (about 40 meters) and 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) wide of great momentum.
