Australia's all round rainbow is rare

Fairy tales say that you can find the treasure at the end of the rainbow, but the rainbow may disappoint you because it is a perfect circle. Colin Middleton Leonhardt, a photographer from Perth, Western Australia, captured a bizarre round rainbow as he traveled past the beach of kozlow, US media reported Thursday.

Colin said that this kind of landscape is very rare, and it is even more difficult to take pictures of it.

Colin said: 'we were on our way back from an aerial photograph when the helicopter passed through a shower area. When we cross the edge of the rain area, the sun is setting, and the position is very low. The sun just makes this unique rainbow. It forms right in front of us. '

So Colin took out his camera and captured the formation of a full circle rainbow.

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the phenomenon of round rainbows has a lot to do with the observer's position, mainly due to the internal reflection of raindrops on the sun.
