Italian style beef brisket and vegetable soup

Practice:

1. Wash the beef brisket and cut into square pieces. Set aside;

2. Scald the onion and tomato with boiling water, remove the skin, dice and cut the cabbage into strips;

3. Pour a little olive oil into the pan. When the oil is hot, stir fry the beef brisket until it turns white;

4. Pour in onion and 2 / 3 diced tomato, continue to stir fry in step 3, until the three ingredients are fully mixed in the pot, pour in warm water (it is better to submerge the ingredients);

5. Pour all the ingredients in step 4 into the soup pot, put in the cut cabbage, first boil it with high heat, then simmer it for 1 hour with low heat;

6. Pour the remaining 1 / 3 of the diced tomatoes into the pot and cook for 3 minutes;

7. Add 2 teaspoons black pepper and 2 teaspoons basil leaves to the soup, season with a little salt.
