What are the common sense and key points of diagnosis of tinea manus and pedis

Health reminder: skin disease has always been one of the topics perplexing people, tinea manus and pedis is one of the hot spots. Tinea manus and pedis refers to the infection caused by dermatophytes invading the toes, interphalanges and palmoplantars. Wearing public slippers in swimming pools and public bathrooms is easy to infect tinea pedis. Tinea manus is often caused by tinea pedis. The following will introduce how to diagnose and treat tinea manus and pedis.

Tinea manus (tinea manus) is a dermatophyte infection that occurs between the palm and fingers, and can also affect the back of the hand; tinea pedis mainly occurs in the plantar and interphalangeal regions, and also extends to the dorsum of the foot and ankle. Trichophyton rubrum is the main pathogen of tinea pedis and is always stubborn and difficult to cure. The disease is long and is usually chronic. The incidence rate is very high. Mycelium was found by direct microscopic examination of scales, and pathogenic bacteria could be identified by fungal culture.

Key points of diagnosis: 1. Hyperkeratosis mainly manifested as hyperkeratosis and rough skin. The skin is often chapped in cold season. 2. The papule scale type has obvious small flake erythema and desquamation, which is attached to the edge of the lesion in an arc or ring shape. 3. The vesicle type is a cluster or sporadic small blisters with pruritus. The location of the blister is deep, the wall of the blister is not easy to break, and there is no erythema around it. It can be absorbed and peeled after a few days. The lesions can spread to the surrounding areas, and sometimes the small blisters fuse into big blisters. The blister fluid is clear and slightly yellow. If there is bacterial secondary infection, it becomes yellow pustule. 4. The wet epidermis of erosive type is impregnated with white and often accompanied by hyperhidrosis. Remove the soft epidermis to expose the red erosive base, or even cracks. Generally, it is easy to commit crimes between the third and fourth fingers. 5. The type of tinea corporis can develop from the above types, especially papules, scales and blisters, to the dorsum of hands and feet. The edge is curved or annular, but often adjacent to the skin lesions, and can be completely fused into a ring.

Treatment points: 1. For patients with bacterial infection, antibiotics should be used internally and topically with rivanol paste, zinc oxide oil plus chloramphenicol, norfloxacin cream and other antibiotic preparations. Antifungal agents were used after infection control. 2. For eczema, compound topical preparations containing antifungal drugs and corticosteroids can be used.
