Do psoriasis patients need to avoid eating

Do psoriasis patients need to avoid eating? What should be paid attention to in the diet of patients with psoriasis? Different doctors often give different answers. Because the pathogenesis of psoriasis has not been fully elucidated in modern medicine, there is no clear answer to this problem.

But many doctors still advise patients to pay attention to diet. From personal point of view and patients' feedback, it is necessary for psoriasis patients to avoid eating, especially alcohol, seafood, poultry, beef, mutton and donkey meat. Fruits, vegetables, bean products and pork can be safely and boldly eaten. Miao Deguang, Department of traditional Chinese medicine, Linyi people's Hospital

The importance of Anhui Medical University research has also been confirmed. The analysis of 646 patients with psoriasis diagnosed with diet records showed that: 1

1. Drinking, food allergy, eating animal oil and fat meat are the dietary risk factors of psoriasis; eating sweet food, lean meat and vegetable oil may prevent the occurrence of psoriasis.

2. Drinking alcohol, eating animal oil and eating fat meat were the risk factors for male psoriasis; fish eating and shrimp eating and food allergy were different between male and female patients with psoriasis.

Drinking tea, eating pickles, soybean products, egg products, eating vegetables and fruits were not associated with psoriasis. But eating fish and shrimp, fat meat, eating animal oil, drinking alcohol, food allergy and so on induce psoriasis.
