Rosacea, commonly known as red nose or red nose, is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that occurs on the face. It is often found in middle-aged people, mainly in the middle of the face, tip of the nose and alar of the nose, but also in the cheeks, jaw and forehead. So what are the factors related to nose redness?
As soon as we mention red nose, we immediately think of rosacea and mite infection. Is it true that mites are the culprit of red nose? In fact, mites also exist in normal people, and rosacea improved after sulfur ointment treatment, but mites did not decrease. Therefore, mites are not the only pathogenic factor. At present, the cause of the disease is not very clear, which may be related to the following factors:
(1) Diet, gastrointestinal dysfunction, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhea, history of gallbladder and stimulating food such as wine, strong tea, coffee, cocoa and other drinks may be the influencing factors for the occurrence and development of the disease.
(2) Mental factors such as emotional tension, nervousness, depression and fatigue can aggravate rosacea damage.
(3) Cold climate and other climate changes cause vascular damage, dermal connective tissue fibrosis, passive expansion of subdermal venous plexus, resulting in blood stasis.
(4) Other diseases are more common in menopausal women, while men are more in adolescence, which may be related to endocrine changes. Some people found that 70% of immunoglobulins were deposited at the junction of damaged epidermis and dermis, while 30% of them were not. The phagocytic activity of leukocytes in patients was significantly reduced, which could make them frequently infected with pyogenic cocci. Therefore, the disease may also be related to immune factors.
