Who might have vasculitis?

Health tips: the high risk groups of vasculitis are smokers (especially young men), nervous people, unbalanced nutrition, residents in cold and humid areas, and family genetic factors. Most of them occur in men aged 20-40 years old, but rarely in women.

The development of the disease is divided into three stages (Western Medicine)

Medium term (dystrophic period)

Numbness, chills, fear of cold, intermittent claudication, and resting pain of affected limbs were aggravated. The skin of the affected limb is often reddish, purplish red or pale, the skin of the foot is dry, peeling, the growth of toenails is slow, thickening and deformation, the sweat hair falls off, the calf muscles atrophy, and the arterial pulse of the affected limb disappears. May have the mood restlessness, the dizziness low back pain, the muscle and bone soft sickness.

Later stage (necrotic stage)

Due to severe blood circulation disorder, ulceration or necrosis of the affected limb occurs, most of which are confined to the toes or feet, and it is rare to spread upward to the ankle joint or leg. The pain was severe and intolerable. The patient often sat with his knees in his arms, thumped his chest and feet, wailed and cried out. Gangrenous toe falls off, often leave ulcer and do not heal for a long time. The whole body is often accompanied by fever, dry mouth, loss of appetite, insomnia, constipation, urinary jaundice and other symptoms.
