How to change the water in the big fish tank and what should be paid attention to

Before changing the water in the large fish tank, prepare the water in advance and dry it for a few days to remove the chlorine in it. However, because the fish tank is relatively large, the water quality is easy to maintain, and the frequency of water change is not too high. It can be changed once a week or two. When changing water, first draw out the old water from the bottom, and then add new water from the cylinder wall. Change water to avoid water quality fluctuation, and the temperature of new water and old water should be close. 1、 Before changing the water in the big fish tank in advance, put the water to be changed into a big basin, and then dry it in the sun. The purpose of this is to remove chlorine. Because the changed water uses tap water, residual chlorine will remain in the disinfection process, which is harmful to the health of fish. Therefore, it is necessary to evaporate the chlorine by drying the water. It usually takes 24 hours in summer and longer in other seasons. 2、 The water change frequency is large, and the water in the fish tank does not need to be changed too frequently. Because the water quality is maintained well, it is usually changed once a week or two. As long as the water body can remain clear, there is no need to change the water frequently. The amount of water for each water change is about one quarter to one third. Because the water change is not frequent, the amount of water will be slightly larger, and it is useless to change less. 3、 To pump water and change water, you need to pump water first. You can use a water pump to pump water, or you can use a pipe to draw water from the bottom by siphon method, which can also bring out the dirt at the bottom. After pumping out the water, slowly mix the prepared new water from the cylinder wall, so as not to cause water quality fluctuation and avoid stress reaction of fish. 4、 Precautions: pay attention to the water temperature when changing water. If the temperature difference between new water and old water is too large, the fish may feel uncomfortable and even die directly. Generally, the temperature of new water can be 1-2 ℃ higher than that of old water, and the temperature should be consistent before and after water change.
