It is a royal palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China. The Forbidden City of Beijing is one of the largest and best preserved ancient wooden structures in the world. It is a national 5A scenic spot and was listed as a world cultural heritage in 1987.

The buildings in the Forbidden City in Beijing are divided into two parts: the outer court and the inner court.
