According to the station location, it can be divided into land survey station, survey ship and air survey station. Space TT & C stations include fixed stations and mobile stations. According to the requirements of the measurement and control area, the measurement and control stations are distributed in a wide range, and their stations can be arranged in their own country or at any appropriate place in the world. There are five onshore measurement and control stations in China, including Dongfeng station, Weinan station, Qingdao station, Xiamen station and Kashgar station. Four foreign land-based TT & C stations include Karachi station, Namibia station, Malindi station and Chile station. In addition, there are two mobile measurement and control stations, Hotan station and main station.
The mission of the TT & C station is to directly track, measure, telemetry, remote control and communicate with the spacecraft. It transmits the received measurement and telemetry information to the aerospace control center, communicates with the spacecraft according to the instructions of the aerospace control center, and cooperates with the control center to complete the control of the spacecraft. The TT & C station can also independently control the spacecraft according to the specified procedures.
