Is Taishang Laojun Sanqing

The supreme Laojun belongs to Sanqing, and is one of the Taoist "Sanqing" gods. Taoist Sanqing originally refers to the three gods of "Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun and Taiqing moral Tianzun". The moral Tianzun is one of the parts of the supreme Lao king, the third, or the incarnation of the moral Tianzun. Is the supreme Laojun Sanqing? In Taoist belief, the taboo of the supreme Laojun has a special meaning. The meaning of the supreme Laojun is the Supreme God who is supreme, ahead of heaven and earth and beyond life and death.

In the Sanqing Hall of Taoism, the three deities usually enshrined are the highest deity of Taoism, Sanqing. According to the book of readings in jishuo Quanzhen, it is said that 'the Sanqing people live in Yuqing holy land, Yuanshi holy land, Shangqing holy land, Daojun holy land, Taiqing fairyland and Laojun holy land.'

In the Sanqing Hall of Taoist temples, there are statues or deities of the moral heaven. The statues are often an old man with white beard and white hair, holding a feather fan, ranking on the right side of the heaven at the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty.
