Which district does Xisanqi belong to

Xisanqi belongs to Haidian District, Beijing. It is close to Huilongguan, Changping, the north of Qinghe Xiaoying, the east of Xierqi and the west of Dongxiaokou. It belongs to the outside of the Fifth Ring Road. To the north of Qinghe River in Haidian, there are two villages, Xisanqi and Xierqi. In Beiqijia town in the southeast of Changping District, there are several villages such as Dongsan banner, Donger banner, Houtun, Qiantun and Panzhuang. Which district village does the Xisan banner belong to? Known as the 'flag', people can easily think of the eight flag army of the Qing Dynasty, including the inlaid yellow flag, the positive yellow flag, the positive white flag (the upper three flags), the inlaid white flag, the positive red flag, the inlaid red flag, the positive blue flag and the inlaid blue flag (the lower five flags). They even think that these villages were formed because of the garrison of the eight flag army in the Qing Dynasty.

The formation and name of Xisanqi had nothing to do with the Eight Banners army in the Qing Dynasty. It was the result of some troops herding horses in this area in the Ming Dynasty.

Villages such as Xisanqi, Xierqi, Dongsanqi and dongerqi were the garrisons of the small banners of horse herding in the Ming Dynasty. Later, they evolved into villages and were named after the number and location of the small flag at that time. (XiSanQiShuYuNaGeOu)
