Tips on how to remove chewing gum on clothes

Chewing gum on clothes can be removed by hair dryer, alcohol, refrigerator and other tools. If you don't have these tools, you can also soak them in hot water to melt the gum. Because the viscosity of the gum is very high, it has the characteristics of freezing when cold and melting when hot. By freezing or heating, you can effectively and conveniently remove the gum stains.

1. Hair dryer

Cover the part with gum on the clothes with a piece of hard paper, adjust the hair dryer to the maximum block of hot air, and blow against the gum across the paper, so that the gum can slowly heat up and dissolve on the paper. If there is any surplus residue, it can be wiped slowly after repeated.

2. Alcohol

Pour a little alcohol into the top of the clothes with chewing gum. After standing for ten minutes, slowly scrape the chewing gum off the clothes with a knife. However, if the material of the clothes is special, it is not recommended to try to avoid scratching the clothes. When scraping with a knife, scrape off the gum on it first, and the remaining residue can be slowly wiped off with a paper towel.

3. Refrigerator

After packing the clothes, put them directly into the refrigerator, but expose the part with gum. You can take it out in two hours. At this time, the gum has hardened and can fall off as soon as you pick it.
