Bozhou, Anhui Province, is known as the "capital of Chinese medicine". Together with Anguo, Hebei, Zhangshu, Jiangxi and Yuzhou, Henan, Bozhou is known as the "four major drug capitals of China", and Bozhou is the first drug capital. Bozhou, the hometown of Hua Tuo, has been known as the capital of medicine since ancient times.

Bozhou has been known as the medicine capital since ancient times. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was one of the four major medicine capitals in China

There is also a famous scenic spot called Hua zu'an in Bozhou. It is a temple used by later generations to worship Hua Tuo, a divine doctor of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Hua zu'an was first built in the Tang Dynasty and has been repaired many times. It covers an area of more than 10000 square meters, including Zen room, five birds stage and other buildings.
