4hw.com.cn yesterday, the reporter learned from China Railway Kunming bureau group that after nearly six years of construction, Yongren Guangtong railway was put into operation on January 9, and Kunming Panzhihua formally opened the "Fuxing" EMU.
The Yongren Guangtong railway is located in Chuxiong Prefecture. It starts from Yongren County in the north, passes Yuanmou County and Mouding County in the south, and ends at Guangtong North Station in Lufeng County, with a total length of 109 km. It is connected with the double track of Guangtong Kunming railway, Kunming Dali and Lijiang Railway, and connects with the national railway network. Two new passenger stations, Yongren and Yuanmou West, have been built on the Yongguang railway, which have been opened to traffic, adding a large capacity channel to the north in Yunnan.
At the beginning of the operation, there were two pairs of EMUs running from Kunming south to Panzhihua south, and one pair of EMUs running from Kunming to Panzhihua south, passing through Panzhihua south, Yongren, Yuanmou West, Guangtong north, Kunming and Kunming South stations. The railway department has started selling tickets for Kunming Panzhihua EMU at 10:00 on January 7.
