Beijing metro line adjustment Metro Line 11 appears for the first time

Original title: five subway lines in Beijing will be adjusted and line 13 will be divided into two parts

Recently, the national development and Reform Commission officially approved the adjustment plan for the second phase construction planning of Beijing rail transit. Five lines are involved in the adjustment, namely, the west section of line 11 (Winter Olympics branch line), line 22 (Pinggu line) (Dongdaqiao Pinggu line), new airport line, line 28 (CBD line) and line 13.

According to the plan, the construction period of the five lines involved in the adjustment is from 2019 to 2022, and it is expected to start construction in this year and next year.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the second phase of the construction plan is to strengthen the rail transit service in key functional areas, promote the construction of urban public transport system with rail transit as the backbone, promote the decentralization of non capital functions, strengthen the connection and coverage of rail transit to the city's deputy centers and the three northern counties, and explore the repair and organization of existing lines to improve the overall situation Improve the travel efficiency of residential network.

Adjustment 1

Add stations in Huitian area of line 13

At present, the total length of line 13 is 41 km, with 16 stations in total. However, limited by the signal system and turn back conditions, only 23 pairs of trains are operated per hour, resulting in high full load rate and serious current limitation. According to the latest approved scheme, the section from Xierqi to Longze station of line 13 is recombined to form two 'l' shaped lines crossing the north of the city, which are divided into two lines a and B.

Among them, the southern part of line 13A extends to Chegongzhuang after Dazhongsi station, and the North extends from the north side of Xierqi to the east of Tiantongyuan, with a total length of 30.2km (including 19.1km of newly-built line), and the line is expanded from 6B to 8b marshalling combined with the reconstruction of existing line; the total length of line 13b from malianwa to Dongzhimen is 32km (including 8.8km of newly-built line).

According to the municipal development and Reform Commission, Zhongguancun is the first destination for Changping, Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan, followed by Shangdi. In this way, in addition to solving the imbalance caused by the current East-West passenger flow difference, more passenger flow can be delivered to the destination in a shorter time and a shorter distance. After the capacity expansion and upgrading of line 13, line 13A can enter Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan area, and reach Zhongguancun directly through line 13a, which plays an important role in improving the service level and accessibility of the region.

Adjustment 2

CBD line will connect with Beijing East Railway Station

It has been a long time since the construction of "underground train" APM line in international trade area. In 2015, CBD line was officially listed in the second phase construction plan. According to the reply at that time, the CBD line starts from the East Bridge in the West and ends at Jiulongshan in the East, with a total length of 4.9 km and 8 stations.

According to the planning, the east end of the line will be adjusted to Guangqu East Road station, which will connect with Beijing East Railway Station and form transfer with national railway and suburban railway. The total length of the line is 8.7 km, with a total of 9 stations.

A major adjustment of line 28 this time is to connect with Beijing east railway station. The connection facilities around the railway station are poor, so far there is no subway service. However, according to the plan, Beijing East Railway Station will be an important hub station of regional express line (suburban railway) in the future, and also an important node for CBD to radiate the capital region and even Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.

The person in charge said that line 28 was set as a medium volume rail transit line, with the direct purpose of connecting more lines and stations in the rail network, adding a second channel into the CBD area, so as to facilitate passengers of rail transit network to enter the CBD area through a transfer.

After the planning adjustment, two of the five transfer stations are "four line transfer". In addition to the transfer between Dongdaqiao station and line 6 that has been opened and line 17 under construction, Pinggu line station will also be built at the same time; Dawanglu station has previously opened the east section of line 1 and line 14, and will transfer to line 18 (line R1) in addition to line 28 in the future; Jingguangqiao station will build line 22 (Pinggu line) station at the same time and transfer with existing line 10; Guanghua Road station will transfer to line 20 (line R4) in the long term; Dajiaoting station will transfer to line 7.

Adjustment 3

Line 22 (Pinggu line) reserved branch line through sub center

At the end of 2016, the construction of line 22 (Pinggu line) was announced, but the construction was suspended due to the adjustment of the scheme. According to the original plan, Pinggu line starts from fuhewan in the East and ends at Dongfeng North Bridge in the West. The total length of the line is 71 km and there are 11 stations in total.

In this adjustment plan, the original construction plan of Pinggu to Dongfeng Beiqiao line is reserved as the long-term plan. In the near future, according to the collaborative planning results of the three northern counties in Hebei Province, passenger flow and service sub center demand, the west section of the line is adjusted through the administrative office area, the city sub center station, and the west to the East Bridge. The total length of the line is 78.6 km, with a total of 20 stations. The total length of Hebei section is about 28 km, with 4 stations in total.

The readjusted Pinggu line starts from Pinggu new town and passes through Sanhe City of Hebei Province and divides into two branches: one is implemented recently, passing through the sub center of Beijing City, and the ending point is at Dongdaqiao station in central urban area; the other branch line is long-term reserved, passing through South Gaolou station of Sanhe City and ending at Dongfeng Beiqiao station.

The person in charge said that at present, the subway between Tongzhou District and the central city mainly relies on line 6 and Batong line, while the adjustment of line 22 will create an "express line" between the central city and the sub center. On a larger scale, the line 22 has set up four stations in Hebei Province. After the adjustment, it has led to several Eastern clusters of Yanjiao Town, Gaolou town and qixinzhuang town in Sanhe City, Hebei Province, and Mafang, Machangying and Pinggu Central City in Pinggu. The plan adjustment of Pinggu line connects the central city, the sub center and the eastern development axis, which promotes the function decentralization of the central urban area and radiates the coordinated development of the surrounding areas.

Adjustment 4

Line 11 takes the lead in the construction of Winter Olympics branch line with 4 stations

The new version of line 11 appeared for the first time. Line 11 used to be the long-term planning line of Beijing Metro. This time, it will take the lead to build the western section, namely the Winter Olympics branch line. The total length of the line is 4 km, with 4 stations: Jinding street, Jin'an bridge, Beixin'an road and Shougang.

The skiing platform project of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games will be held in the north area of Shougang Industrial Park. Jin'anqiao station will be specially set for line 11 and transfer with line S1 and line 6. The station is close to the east of the office area of Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, and the nearest distance is about 410 meters; the exit of the single board big jump platform viewing area is about 1km away from Shougang station and 600m away from the security area.

According to the person in charge, this is not only in line with the security distance requirements around the competition venues, but also easy for large-scale events to gather and disperse large-scale traffic, which is of great significance for the service of large-scale passenger flow distribution during the games. This can effectively improve the traffic carrying capacity of the surrounding areas of Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee Shougang office area, and ensure the efficient public transport service level during the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

Adjustment 5

Transfer from Daxing airport line to Lize line

In September this year, Daxing airport line was opened to traffic, with the bridge in the north and Daxing airport in the south. However, in the original phase II construction plan, the North terminal of Daxing airport line is to Mudanyuan, with a total length of 59.8 km.

After this adjustment, the north end of the line is adjusted to Lize business district, with a total length of 47.5 km and a total of 5 stations. In the future, Lize business district station can transfer with Metro Line 11, line 14, line 16 and other lines to realize "four line transfer".

The person in charge said that the connection of the new airport line with the three lines can greatly expand the service scope of one-time transfer, improve the service level of the new airport line, and facilitate the cultivation of air passenger flow at the new airport.

Line 14 connects Beijing South Railway Station and CBD, line 16 connects Zhongguancun Science City and Fengtai station, and planned line 11 connects Shougang area, Beijing South Railway Station and other important functional areas and hubs. According to the new plan, the line 10 will be connected at Caoqiao in the initial stage of the new airport's navigation. After the completion of the first phase of line 19 in 2020, the new airport line can be connected to air passengers in Financial Street and Zhongguancun area through one-time transfer; In 2021, extending northward to Lize will connect two backbone lines with large traffic volume, including line 14 and line 16, and further expand the radiation scope of one-time transfer to Sanlihe administrative district, Zhongguancun West District, Beijing South Railway Station, CBD and other key functional areas.
