4hw.com.cn is ready to change jobs, but it is found that many employers set the recruitment threshold as "under 35 years old"; they wanted to spell again, but their physical function and learning ability were not as good as before & hellip; & hellip; encountered the phenomenon of "35 years old", which made many white-collar workers feel pressure. In this issue, we have published three articles to explore career development with readers.

Wang Peng

On the surface, the phenomenon of "35 years old" is a dilemma of personal career development. From a deep level, it is also inseparable from the external environment such as workplace ecology and public opinion.

In an era full of changes, it is wise to take precautions. However, in addition to personal correct mentality and consciously strengthen learning, it is also necessary for the government, society and employers to form a joint force to provide good conditions for personal career development. It is necessary to implement the labor law and labor contract law to create more fair employment opportunities. It is also necessary to guide the institutionalization, standardization and long-term development of skills training through policies, and to open up more channels for career development. Employers need to work hard on the incentive and training mechanism to help employees relieve workplace anxiety.

If we look at problems from the perspective of development, we don't need to magnify our professional anxiety. As early as 2018, the State Council issued opinions on the implementation of lifelong vocational skills training system. Facing the future, a set of talent training mechanism will provide a broad space for more people to achieve brilliant life.

Dare to walk out of the 'comfort zone'

Xu Qinglin

According to developmental psychology, 35 years old belongs to the later stage of early adulthood (20-40 years old). In early adulthood, individuals begin to take on more and more social roles, but people's physiological functions begin to decline from the peak period of about 30 years old. The physiological changes superimpose on the changes of family and workplace roles, and catch up with the rapid iteration of knowledge and skills, which makes many people have occupational anxiety around the age of 35, which is not difficult to understand.

The survival of the fittest has always been the norm in the workplace. To break through the bottleneck of career development, we should first adjust our mentality and make up for the short board of ability and quality. In reality, many people choose to escape from the difficulties and challenges, finish their work with the mentality of "almost the same", and their career path becomes narrower and narrower. To expand the career development space, we should strengthen the professional quality and extend the boundary of ability with long-term efforts; we should also have the courage to go out of the 'comfort zone', face up to our own shortcomings and make targeted improvements.

There is no shortcut to success in the workplace, so it's better to take every step with care. When you are 35 years old or so, it is not difficult to break through the bottleneck of your career and create more value if you put your mind right, keep learning and pay attention.

Maintain the attitude of lifelong learning

In the information age, knowledge, skills and all kinds of production factors accelerate iteration, which puts forward higher requirements for personal ability. Whether it's employees around 35 years old or young people just entering the workplace, they will inevitably encounter skill panic. Only by firmly establishing the concept of lifelong learning can we adapt to the changing requirements of the workplace. I have a deep understanding of this point when I work in the grass-roots courts.

At present, the reform in the judicial field continues to deepen, and the people's expectations for better judicial services are increasing day by day. In order to meet the requirements of judicial practice, we should be engaged in legal work in the front line and constantly improve the ability and quality. For example, a series of new crimes and civil disputes have appeared in new fields and new formats, and the in-depth application of information tools such as big data, cloud computing and blockchain in judicial links, etc. These new phenomena and problems are forcing the judicial practitioners to construct the ability and quality that matches the needs of their jobs.

The era of charging electricity only once in one's life is over. Only by becoming a 'high-efficiency battery' and continuously charging, can energy be continuously released. Lifelong learning is not only the fundamental way to break through the workplace crisis, but also the lifestyle that everyone should cultivate.
