According to chinasecurities.com, the top ten IC design companies in the world (only companies with public financial statements) released their top 10 revenue rankings in the third quarter of 2019 on April 4, with Broadcom (semiconductor only), Qualcomm (OCT only), NVIDIA (excluding OEM / IP revenue), MediaTek and a MD, Xilinx, Marvell, novatek, Realtek and dialog.
The revenue of the top three companies in the third quarter all declined compared with the same period last year. Specifically, the single quarter revenue of Broadcom, Qualcomm and NVIDIA was US $4.184 billion, US $3.611 billion and US $2.737 billion, respectively, with a year-on-year decrease of 12.3%, 22.3% and 9.5%.
The single quarter revenue of Chaowei, Xilinx, Lianyong technology, Ruiyu semiconductor (Internet of things) and delog (wearable) increased year-on-year. Among them, the performance of Ruiyu semiconductor was the best, with revenue of 514 million US dollars in the third quarter, with a year-on-year growth of 30.5%. It also had a year-on-year growth rate of 11.7% in a single quarter, ranking the second among the above manufacturers.
