Unfortunately, because of the licensing dispute, the two companies eventually parted ways. Even so, Sony has not easily abandoned the project, but decided to continue to develop the system. On September 9, 1995, Sony finally launched Playstation to the North American market. At the same time, it has a number of outstanding games, including "chariot of fire", "ridge racing", "ESPN extreme sports", and "NBA: competitive version".
In the end, Sony sold more than 102 million playstations, enough to make it into the top five of the console's historical bestsellers. If you include subsequent generations of products, the company occupies a total of three of the top five in history.
