Ten generations of Pentium / Celeron quietly released: another squeeze at 14nm

Pentium gold 6405u: dual core four thread, main frequency 2.4GHz, three-level cache 2MB, integrated core display UHD 300-950mhz, thermal design power consumption 15W, can be as low as 12.5W (800MHz), price $161.

Celeron 5205u: dual core, dual thread, main frequency 1.9GHz, three-level cache 2MB, integrated core display UHD 300-900mhz, thermal design power consumption 15W, can be as low as 12.5W (800MHz), price $107.

They are the upgraded versions of the eight generations of family Pentium gold medal 5405u and Celeron 4205u. Only the CPU frequency is increased by 100MHz respectively. In addition, the memory frequency supports ddr4-2133 and lpddr3-1866 to ddr4-2400 and lpddr3-2133.

It is worth noting that there was a Celeron 4305u before, with a frequency of 2.2GHz instead, which is much higher than the new Celeron 5205u, and the price is the same.

I wonder when ice lake series will join Pentium and Celeron?
