Appier, an AI start-up supported by Softbank, received US $80 million in financing

On November 26, according to foreign media reports, soft bank said on Tuesday that its AI start-up, appier, had raised $80 million in the latest round of financing.

Appier also announced that investors in this round of financing include Hopu arm innovation fund and pavilion capital of Temasek Holdings PTE. Ltd., a Singapore state-owned investment company.

Appier, headquartered in Taiwan, uses AI technology to develop marketing tools for enterprises. So far, appier has received more than 162 million US dollars in financing.

Appier said that the newly raised funds will be used to promote the expansion of global market, attract outstanding international talents, promote the innovative application of AI in fields other than digital marketing, and continue to strengthen and expand its current product portfolio.

Appier was founded in 2012 by a group of computer scientists and information engineers.
