AMD's third quarter revenue of $1.8 billion is expected to be close to $21 in the fourth quarter

On October 30, AMD, a semiconductor manufacturer, released its financial report for the third quarter of this year on Tuesday local time, with various financial indicators such as net profit and revenue rising year-on-year.

According to the financial report, AMD's revenue in the third quarter was US $1.8 billion, up 9% year-on-year from US $1.65 billion in the same period last year, and US $1.53 billion in the second quarter of this year, up 18% month on month.

In terms of gross profit margin, the financial report shows 43%, 3 percentage points higher than 40% in the third quarter of last year, and 2 percentage points higher than 41% in the second quarter of this year.

In terms of net profit, the financial report shows that it is 120 million US dollars under the general accounting standards of the United States, 102 million US dollars in the same period last year, up 17.6% year on year; it is 35 million US dollars in the second quarter of this year, up 242.86% month on month. Non US GAAP was $219 million, an increase of $69 million from $150 million in the same period last year and $127 million from $92 million in the previous quarter.

For the fourth quarter of this year, AMD's revenue is expected to be around $2.1 billion in the financial statements, with a fluctuation of $50 million, a year-on-year increase of 48%, a month on month increase of 17%, and the gross profit margin under non-U.S. GAAP is expected to be around 44%.
