November 4 News: Recently, Alibaba Group announced its quarterly results as of September 30, 2019, in which the latest operating data of HEMA was disclosed for the first time.
Data shows that as of September 30, 2019, there are 170 self operated HEMA fresh stores in China, which are mainly located in the first and second tier cities. The self operated stores that have operated for more than 12 months have achieved positive growth of adjusted EBITDA consolidation in the quarter up to September 2019.
According to the financial report, HEMA is implementing a multi form retail strategy and introducing new plans to improve the user experience and customer loyalty. Previously, according to the data disclosed by HEMA, a nationwide cold chain logistics distribution network has been built, including 48 supply chain centers and nearly 500 national fresh food bases.
In terms of the sinking market, HEMA is located around the first and second tier suburban towns and the third and fourth tier cities. It is understood that HEMA Mini store has opened 3 stores and HEMA cuisine store has been upgraded.
