Shaohua mountain tour route
1. Hiking route
On the right side of the scenic spot is a line of Hongya lake and Shimen gorge, which is very suitable for hiking. All the way through Shimen gorge, Shimen, jiulongguan, jiulongtan, Juxian Bay, Muzi gorge and other scenic spots, you can consider turning back to Tiantan waterfall.
This road is basically along the canyon, occasionally with hillsides, so the intensity is not big. Naturally, it is suitable for the elderly and children to roam together. Of course, the young children are a little tired. This period of hiking time is about 1.5-2 hours.
2. Climbing route of cableway and cable car
Shaohua mountain forest park is mainly divided into Qianlong temple and Shimen gorge. There is a long distance between the two scenic spots. If you want to visit all the scenic spots in one day, you need to use cableway and cable car.
On the left side of the scenic area is the Shaohua mountain cableway. The cableway runs for about 15 minutes one way, with three slowdowns in the middle. To get off the cable car, you can choose a mountain road facing the cable car, but this road has to go up and down steps in the whole process; you can also choose the trestle road around the mountain on the left side of the cable car exit, which is almost a flat road, so it's easy to walk.
Along the way, you will pass yuanguantai, wangyuetai, shenxiantai and guzhongting, and finally directly arrive at Qianlong temple and glass plank road (this is the first two-way suspended glass plank road in Northwest China, adjacent to Huashan Mountain, which is the most dangerous in the world. The total length of the plank road is about 455 meters, of which the glass plank road is 69 meters and 2.5 meters wide, which can enhance the tourists' sense of strange and dangerous experience)
Next, you can return to the cable car and take a ride to Shimen Gorge Scenic Area. But the place to get off is two kilometers away from the Shimen Gorge Scenic spot. You can choose to walk or take the sightseeing bus (extra charge, 10 yuan for one way, 15 yuan for round trip). Shimen Gorge Scenic Area is basically a flat road, the scenery is mainly water, the whole journey is about 6 kilometers, along the main attractions are Jiulong lake, Jiulong Xuan, Jinchan lake, Tiantan waterfall, etc.
