The eighth most difficult mountain to climb in China is Mount Everest

We all know that mountaineering has been proved to be an extreme sport for human beings to challenge their limits and conquer themselves. In China, because of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and Mount Qomolangma, the third pole in the world, there are many high-altitude mountains in China, so the Chinese climbers are also very powerful. But what you don't know is that Everest is not the most difficult mountain to climb. In China, it can only rank eighth, and the top three are still virgin peaks. What are the eight most difficult mountains to climb in China? (the ranking is only based on whether or not people have climbed the top, the death rate of climbing, and the number of times of climbing, and the folk ranking)

Eighth place: Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the main peak of the Himalayas, which means' mother of the earth 'in Tibetan. Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world with an altitude of 8844.43 meters. It is located on the border between China and Nepal. In the north, it is in Dingri County, Tibet, China (the west slope is in zhaxizong Township, Dingri County, and the east slope is in Qudang Township, Dingri County, with the base camp of Mt. Everest). In the south, it is in Nepal. It is the center of Mt. Everest nature reserve and Nepal National Park across four counties in China.

Although Mt. Everest is at a high altitude and has become the first choice for human beings to challenge themselves, with the improvement of the Everest camp and the maturity of the route, as well as the cooperation of Sherpas, it is jokingly called 'money can climb the top'. Of course, this is only a joke.

Seventh place: chogory peak

'chogoli', usually considered to be Tajik, means' tall and majestic '. Qiaogeli peak is the main peak of Karakoram mountain, also known as K2 peak, with an altitude of 8611 meters. Qiaogeli peak mainly has six ridges. The northwest southeast ridge is the main ridge line of Karakoram Mountain vein, and it is also the border line of China and Pakistan.

The peak of qiaogeli peak is pyramid shaped, with ice cliffs and steep mountains. The steep slope is covered with the trail of avalanche chute. At the top of the mountain is an ice slope rising slightly from north to south, covering a large area. On the north side, the slope is more than 45 degrees. From the base camp on the north side to the peak, the vertical height difference is as high as 4700 meters, which is the largest peak with a height difference of more than 8000 meters in the world. It is recognized by the international mountaineering community that it is the most difficult mountain to climb more than 8000 meters. It is also the only independent mountain of 8000 meters that has not been successfully climbed in winter so far. The mountaineering mortality rate of georgoli is higher than that of Everest.

Sixth place Namjagbarwa

Namjagbawa peak is also called namzhuobar mountain, which means' stone falling from the sky 'in Tibetan and is called' father of mountains'. It is located on the south side of the great bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River, the boundary mountain of Nyingchi, Motuo and Milin, and at the junction of the Himalayas and Nyainqentanglha mountains. The huge triangular peak of Namjagbarwa is covered with snow all the year round, clouds and fog, so it is difficult to see its true appearance. Due to the influence of climate, it is very difficult to climb.

So far, only in October 1992, all 11 members of the Sino Japanese joint mountaineering team have reached the top of the mountain. There is no other record of mountaineering, so we can think of the difficulty of climbing.

Fifth place: Gongga snow mountain

Located in the south of Kangding, Sichuan Province, Gongga Mountain is the main peak of Daxue mountain. There are 45 peaks with an altitude of more than 6000 meters around. The main peak stands at the top of the peaks, with an altitude of 7556 meters. It is the highest peak in Sichuan Province and is known as the king of Shu mountains. Gongga Mountain is the most difficult mountain to climb, which is much more difficult than Everest. According to statistics, so far, only 24 people have successfully climbed the top, but 37 people have died during and after climbing, including 14 foreigners. The death rate of mountaineering is far more than 14% of Mt. Everest and 30% of Mt. chogori, second only to Mt. Meili and Mt. Yala.

Gongga Mountain is also the mountain with the largest relative height difference in the world, reaching 6200 meters (the highest mountain from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain). It was once considered to be the highest mountain in the world during World War II.

Fourth place: Yulong Snow Mountain

Yulong Snow Mountain is called "Ou Lu" in Naxi language, which means "Tian Shan". It is the holy mountain of Naxi people. Located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, Yulong Snow Mountain is the closest to the equator in the northern hemisphere. It is juxtaposed by Zhongdian snow mountain and Mianmian mountain across the river. The main peak is steep with a fan, and the highest altitude is 5596 meters, with snow all the year round.

The temperature zone of Yulong Snow Mountain varies greatly. The airflow on the mountain is often unstable, and avalanches often occur. The climate change caused by unstable air flow is very terrible, so it is very dangerous. So it's very difficult to climb. It's still the virgin mountain, and no one has ever reached the top.

In 2019, a rock collapse occurred in the no man's land on the upper part of ganheba in Baisha Town, Yulong County, accompanied by dust fog in some areas. It is estimated that it is more difficult to climb.

Third place: Meili Snow Mountain

Meili Snow Mountain, the main peak of which is Kawagebo with an altitude of 6740 meters, means "white snow mountain" in Tibetan, commonly known as "God of snow mountain"; located in Chayu County of Tibet and Deqin County of Diqing Prefecture of Yunnan Province, it is called Kawagebo snow mountain in Tibetan area, and "Meili" means medicinal mountain. It is the holy land of Yongzhong Bon religion and one of the four sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism.

Meili Snow Mountain is the highest peak in Yunnan. All previous large-scale mountaineering activities have failed since the beginning of the 20th century. Although human beings have reached the top of the snow mountain more than 8000 meters, Kawagebo, which is less than seven kilometers away, is still the virgin peak that human beings can't reach. In 1991, 17 Chinese and Japanese mountaineers were killed by an avalanche, making it the second largest mountaineering disaster in history.

Second place Yala snow mountain

Yala snow mountain, Tibetan full name 'xiaxue yalagabo' (meaning Oriental White Yak mountain), is a famous holy mountain in Tibetan area. The mountain crosses Daofu, Kangding and Danba counties, and connects with Tagong grassland in the northwest, forming a magnificent landscape of snow mountain and grassland. The main peak of Yala snow mountain is 5820 meters above sea level, covered with snow all the year round.

Yala snow mountain is a famous holy mountain in Kangba area, where Yala river originates. Because of its steep rock route, Yala snow mountain is almost operated by 70 or 80 degrees of steep ice and snow. The difficulty of climbing is that the ice and snow edge ridge from the top of the north peak to the top of the main peak cuts across. Although the height difference is only 100 meters, it is nearly one kilometer long, and it is extremely dangerous. Once it slips, it is absolutely dead.

Although the altitude of Yarra snow mountain is not high, it is not forbidden to climb, but it is difficult to climb. So far, no one has reached the top of the mountain. It is still virgin peak. In 1999, Japan's Shanan and men's expeditions attempted to climb, but failed: in 2002, two British climbers failed to climb the top, and in 2003, the Korean college students did not climb the top.

First place okaren Boqi

Gangrenboqi is located in the north of baga Township, Pulan County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet, with an altitude of 6638 meters (6714 meters), which is the main peak of Gangdese mountain. It is one of the four sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism. It is recognized as a sacred mountain in the world. It is also recognized as the center of the world by Yongzhong Bon, Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and ancient Jainism in Tibet. Gangrenboqi has always been the place of pilgrims and explorers, but so far no one has been able to climb the sacred mountain. It doesn't matter whether it is difficult to climb or dare not to invade the center of the world. The important thing is that no one can reach its peak, and no one has ever heard of trying to climb it. This is a good thing for the environmental protection of the sacred mountain. No one even dared to try, so Kang renboqi ranked first.

Mountaineering is the world of the strong and the movement of human beings to challenge themselves. However, we should not understand mountaineering as conquest, but revere nature. We can never conquer nature, what we conquer is only our own limit and will. Perhaps the voice of Tibetans makes us understand more about nature: human beings can live in harmony with nature only by respecting and loving nature; if human beings are determined to be enemies of nature and only want to conquer nature, they will end up in extinction.
