Wang mangling
Wangmangling scenic spot is located in the southeast of Lingchuan County, Shanxi Province, bordering on Huixian City, Henan Province. It is named after Wang Mang of the Western Han Dynasty who drove Liu Xiu to camp here. Because of its dangerous peaks and vast sea of clouds, it is called "cloud mountain mirage".
Wangmangling scenic area includes wangmangling, xiyagou, Kunshan and liuxiucheng. The East Cliff of the mountain, commonly known as tianzhuguan, is composed of 56 peaks. In the south of the mountain, there are thousands of cliffs, which are cut like a stone. In the north, there are towering rocks, green lotus and continuous peaks. Xiyagou
At the foot of wangmangling mountain lies the beautiful Xiya Valley, which is named after the legend that immortal Taoist once smelted tin and alchemy here. Around xiyagou, there are four mountain systems: madongling, Huashan, qingfengwei and wangmangling. The gap between the four mountains is called xiyagou.
red flag canal
The red flag canal was built in the 1960s by people in Linxian County of Anyang City to divert water from Zhangzhou to the forest from Taihang Mountain. The whole red flag canal is coiled between the cliffs of Taihang Mountain, known as "the eighth wonder of the world".
The red flag canal coiled on the cliff of Taihang mountainside is composed of two sub scenic spots, Fen Shui yuan (with red flag canal Memorial Hall) and youth cave. The scenic spots are magnificent and precipitous, each with its own characteristics. The main scene is youth cave, and the youth cave dug by the broken wall runs through the majestic and precipitous.
Fenshuiyuan scenic spot is a garden type scenic spot, and it is also the place where the main canal of the red flag canal is divided into three main canals. Here, surrounded by emerald cypresses, the canal water is surging, and the red flag canal memorial hall is in the scenic spot.
Tourists can go to fenshuiyuan (red flag canal Memorial Hall) first, and then to youth cave. The distance between the two sub scenic spots is about 20 kilometers. There is no traffic car in the scenic spot between the two places, only the local private rental. When you visit the youth cave, you can take a boat (the ticket costs about 30 yuan).
Best viewing time
The best travel time of Taihang Mountain is from June to August and from December to February of the next year. The average temperature in summer in the scenic area is 22 degrees, which is suitable for summer vacation. Wangmangling mountain in winter is especially recommended, with beautiful snow scenery and high image quality.
