30 people died in a fire at Indonesia's lighter factory. What is the cause of the fire?

At about 11:30 on the 21st, a gas lighter factory in North Sumatra province, Indonesia, exploded and caused a fire, killing 30 people, including many women and children. What is the cause of this fire?

The factory was located in sambirejo village, kuwala begumit District, Binjai City, North Sumatra province. The factory was built into a row of wooden houses. The fire caused by the explosion quickly engulfed every room of the plant, causing workers working at the plant to have no time to escape.

A total of 30 people were killed in the fire caused by the explosion, according to the investigation results of Minli City Police Bureau. At the scene of the incident, the police chief of Minli City, nugoroho, who directed the rescue investigation, said the identity of the victims could not be determined and the cause of the accident was under investigation.

According to local villagers, the lighter factory usually has only about 20 workers. However, as there are some housewives among the workers, they often work with their children.

After the incident, the authorities mobilized three fire engines from Minli city and two from Lengji county to the scene. However, due to the narrow road leading to the plant, firefighters were unable to put out the fire at the first time.

According to the villagers of Shanbi latruo village, the lighter factory has been operating in the village for more than 10 years. Most of its workers are villagers of the village and a small number of them are from neighboring villages.
