Jiageng Park, Jimei
In 1992, in order to fulfill Mr. Chen's wish, the park was built in the north of Aoyuan. It is an important part of Tan Kah Kee's architectural style. According to the free layout of traditional gardens, it integrates the entertainment, memorial and culture of the park, complements each other and harmonizes with the Aoyuan landscape. The park covers an area of more than 30000 square meters, with a construction area of 5500 square meters and an investment of 10 million yuan. It was completed on the 120th anniversary of Mr. Tan Kah Kee's birth in October 1994 and is open to visitors.
Entering the park, you can see all the pavilions and pavilions with red pillars, cornices and glazed tiles. They are connected one by one and distributed in a line along the winding corridor. Jiageng park takes Chinese style courtyard as the main body. There are pools, curved bridges, stone fences and grasslands in the park. The structure arrangement is very comfortable and pleasant.
In the middle of the west side of the park, there is a large-scale sculpture of peach and plum fragrance, which shows the prosperous scene of Mr. Chen Jiageng's founding and education, cultivating people for a hundred years, abundant talents and peach and plum trees all over the world. Many students look up to the Jimei Liberation Monument in memory of the school master Enze. In the east of the park, there is an honor monument of respecting teachers and valuing education. A giant candle is carved on the stele, which is engraved with the names of individuals and units who donate money to establish schools. The carpet lawn, city trees and flowers all over the park make the park very beautiful, which makes tourists linger.
Jimeixue village was founded by the late famous overseas Chinese leader and patriotic old Mr. Chen Jiageng. Now, it has been approved by the State Education Commission to be unified into Jimei University.

Jimeixue village is located in the southeast corner of Jimei District, Xiamen City, across the sea from Xiamen Island. It enters Jimei school village after getting off the bridge through Xiamen bridge. The quickest way to get to Jimei School Village in Xiamen Island is to take BRT line 1 to Jiageng gymnasium station and transfer to No. L22 bus link bus to longzhouchi station (you can get off to Nanxun building and Aoyuan), or you can take bus No. 959 from Xiamen University to Jimei Dragon Boat pool via Zhongshan intersection, SM square, Gaoqi, etc. Visitors from Xiamen north railway station please take bus NO.901 to longzhouchi station.

In 1950, Mr. Chen Jiageng built a dike on the beach to reclaim the outer, middle and inner pools. The outer pool, commonly known as' Dragon Boat pool ', is 300 meters wide and 800 meters long, with a total area of 240000 square meters. There are seven pavilions on the side of the pool: Qiming, Nanhui, Changgeng, left, right, Feng and yuan.
