1. Anhui Museum
Located at No.268 Huaining Road, Hefei City, Anhui Province, Anhui museum is a provincial comprehensive museum integrating nature, history and social education. It covers an area of 62000 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of 16000 square meters, six floors above the ground and one floor underground, with a building height of 37.7 meters, 15 exhibition halls and more than 218000 cultural relics. The new museum comprehensively displays the historical and cultural highlights of Anhui from the side, while the old museum displays the modern and contemporary characteristics of Anhui. Anhui museum is a landmark cultural facility in Anhui. In 2011, Anhui Provincial Museum was renamed Anhui Museum. Anhui museum is a national 4A tourist attraction, one of the first batch of national first-class museums, the third batch of 'national key protection units of ancient books', and the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
2. Anhui Provincial Geological Museum
Anhui Provincial Geological Museum is located in Anhui Province Cultural Museum Park, beside Swan Lake in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is a geological and Natural Science Museum, one of the cultural projects in Anhui Province. It is a modern, high-tech and unique geological and paleontological Museum. It is a collection and research center of rare geological and mineral samples. It is also the popularization of land and resources knowledge and Youth Science and culture Quality education base. The total construction area of the museum area is 26495 square meters, and the exhibition area is 16902 square meters. The new museum has six permanent exhibition halls, including the preface hall, the earth hall, the life evolution hall, the dinosaur hall, the mineral rock hall, and the resources and environment department, with atrium leisure area, 4D popular science cinema, temporary exhibition hall and outdoor landscape area.
3. Memorial Hall of the cross river campaign
On October 26, 2008, the construction of the memorial hall of crossing the Yangtze River was officially started at the Bank of Chaohu Lake in Binhu New Area of Hefei City, Anhui Province. The planned construction area of the project is about 220000 square meters, and the main building area of the memorial hall is about 20000 square meters. The planned site is like a giant warship riding the wind and waves. The memorial hall has officially opened in April 2012. The battle of crossing the Yangtze River is the first campaign of the Chinese people's Liberation Army to carry out strategic pursuit, and it is also a great starting point to march into the whole country. The General Front Committee of the cross river campaign headed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping was stationed in Yaogang village, CuO Town, Feidong County. The memorial hall of the cross river campaign is a national first-class memorial hall with the same scale as those of Liaoshen, Pingjin and Huaihai Campaign.
4. Exhibition hall of Li Hongzhang's former residence
The exhibition hall of Li Hongzhang's former residence is composed of two parts. Li Hongzhang's former residence and Li Hongzhang's Xiangtang belong to provincial cultural relics protection units. Li Hongzhang's former residence is the residence of Li Hongzhang, Minister of military and political affairs in the late Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of the bustling pedestrian street in Luyang District of Hefei city. It is a typical residential building in Jianghuai area of late Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 2000 square meters and is divided into gate, front hall, middle hall and Zoumalou (Miss building) from south to north. The newly opened Huai Pavilion in the East is more than 1500 square meters. As of July 2016, the former residence of Li Hongzhang covers an area of more than 3500 square meters.
5. Chaohu Museum
Chaohu museum is located in fangwanggang, the eastern suburb of Chaohu City. In 1996, an ancient Western Han Dynasty tomb named Lu Ke was excavated in fangwanggang. The scale of the tomb, the height of the specification and the difference in coffin structure are rare in China. On this basis, the Chaohu Museum, covering an area of 65 Mu and a total construction area of 4000 square meters, is the largest comprehensive museum in Chaohu City. There are three parts of the museum, namely, the exhibition of cultural relics unearthed from Chaohu Han tombs, the exhibition of the original site of fangwanggang Han tomb and the exhibition of jade unearthed from Lingjiatan site. Among them, there are 39 first-class cultural relics, 35 second-class cultural relics and 77 third-class cultural relics. Among them, the number of cultural relics and first-class and second-class cultural relics ranks first among the provincial museums.
