So in 2005, China measured the height of Everest accurately. The height of the rock face of Everest was 8844.43 meters (the precision was controlled within & plusmn; 0.21 meters, and the thickness of ice and snow at the peak was 3.5 meters), while the peak was located in China, and the data of 8848.13 meters in 1975 was not used. In fact, in the past few decades, several countries have measured the height of Mount Everest. The height recognized by Nepal is' 8848m ', which was measured by India in 1954 at different positions on the south side of Everest.
