Why is Mount Tai not the highest mountain called the head of the five mountains?

The altitude of Mount Tai is not suitable for very high. Why is it called the head of the five mountains? Since ancient times, there has been a mysterious rumor that "direct to the throne" in Mount Tai. It is said that before the Qin and Han Dynasties, there were 72 generations of monarchs who made gods here. From the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 13 generations of monarchs who came to Mount Tai to make Zen or sacrifice. In addition, there were 24 generations of monarchs who sent officials to sacrifice 72 times. Mount Tai, which was visited by emperors for many generations, has become a "holy mountain".

Therefore, the purpose of many people's climbing Mount Tai is to be blessed. In addition, they can also experience the magnificence of the motherland by 'being Ling juedang and looking at the small mountains'. Many people come to Mount Tai with the excitement of challenging Mount Tai to climb it. The behemoth in front of them is really inspiring and seems to challenge everyone who tries to conquer it.

However, the process of conquering Mount Tai is not smooth. Every step forward is a great challenge to willpower. The steep mountain road slowly devours people's self-confidence. This state of collapse reached its peak in the 18th set. The dip angle of the stone steps of shibatan is 80 degrees, as if we are not walking on the road, but attached to the small animals on the cliff.

At the end of the 18 plates is the South Tianmen, which is the top of the climbing path and also the door to the top of Mount Tai. Nantianmen was built in 1264 of the Yuan Dynasty. After many repairs in Ming and Qing Dynasties and new China, it maintains the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty. Overlooking from the fence, the whole Nantianmen looks like a heavenly palace, mysterious and beautiful.

After entering Nantianmen, we can see some hotels on the top of the mountain. In order to see the sunrise in the morning, many people will stay here. The cloud sea sunrise in Mount Tai is magnificent. Mount Tai covers an area of 24200 hectares. There are more than 20 ancient buildings, more than 2200 steles and stone carvings left in the grand mountain. Mount Tai, which is regarded as a holy mountain, also has many temples, mostly Buddhist temples and Taoist temples.

The biggest characteristic of the northern mountain is the distinct seasons, the beautiful spring, the green summer, the gorgeous autumn and the lonely winter. This feature is especially obvious in Mount Tai. Climbing Mount Tai in winter is not as abrasive as the other three seasons. The first step to take bravely is to win, let alone how proud of the sense of conquest of climbing to the South Tianmen.

In fact, the elevation of Mount Tai is not high, only 1545 meters, but it is the first of the five mountains. Because the whole eastern plain (North China Plain and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River plain) was the center of population in most ancient times. Mount Tai is located in the center of the eastern plain. It is the highest mountain here, and the relative drop of the surrounding lowlands is very obvious. For people at that time, Mount Tai was It's the first mountain.

In the book of rites, king system, it was also written that the emperor's five-year patrol was the first to go to Mount Tai. It can be seen that from a historical point of view, Mount Tai is also particularly important. What's more, Mount Tai is located in the East where the sun rises. We are used to saying 'southeast, Northwest' or 'East, West, North and South'. The 'East' is always at the front. Therefore, the five mountains will be led by Dongyue.

One of the reasons why Mount Tai is regarded as a place of sustenance for the thought of "harmony between man and nature" is the existence of Yuhuangding. Yuhuangding is the top of the main peak of Mount Tai. It is named after the yuhuangdian on the top of the peak. It is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, the master of all things in the world. Many ancient emperors set altars here to worship the heaven. As a cultural symbol, Mount Tai has long been deeply rooted in our Chinese people's thinking concept. This concept will not change with the change of dynasties, and has been inherited to this day. Therefore, Mount Tai is the only famous mountain among many mountains in China that appears on the RMB.

Confucius loved Mount Tai all his life. He left a masterpiece of 'climbing East Mountain and little Lu, climbing Mount Tai and little world'. In order to commemorate Confucius' historical position, later generations built a Confucius Temple on the top of Mount Tai. The couplets on the screen wall in the gate cleverly adapted Confucius' works: 'climbing Mount Tai and little world, ousting hundreds of families and six classics'.

The stone at the top of Mount Tai in front of the Yuhuang palace announces the highest point of Mount Tai. People hang concentric locks beside the stone, mostly praying for everything to be smooth, families to be harmonious and children to go to school. On the northwest side of the top stone, there are stone carvings of "ancient dengfengtai", where the ancient emperors set up altars to worship the heaven.

The grandeur of Mount Tai shows the insignificance of human beings. When you overcome all kinds of unfavorable psychological factors to reach the summit, your heart is as happy as the pouring flood. Not to be afraid of setbacks and cut through thorns, is not that what the Chinese nation has been striving for.
