At 15:40 on May 7, a forest fire broke out in Shangyuan village group of Xingwen village committee, Longpan Township, Yulong County, Lijiang City. According to the Yunnan forest fire brigade, after days of fighting, as of 10 a.m. on the 9th, there was no open fire on the whole line of the fire site, which turned into the cleaning and guarding stage. The area of the fire was 28 hectares.
At present, the fire site has been sealed and controlled in the whole line. Because there are many fallen trees in the forest, the humus layer is thick, the terrain is precipitous, and the fire site cleaning is difficult, the firefighters have now turned to the whole line cleaning and guarding stage.
More than 1500 people were put into the forest fire fighting team, local professional fire fighting team, resident armed police and the people, and 2 helicopters were put into the southern air forest protection station Lijiang station to put out the fire.
