At about 16:10 on May 7, a fire broke out in Xingwen village, Longpan Township, Yulong County, Lijiang City. Yulong Snow Mountain is a group of snow mountains in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is about 15 kilometers to the north of Lijiang, with a total length of 75 kilometers. It is the latest equatorial snow mountain in the northern hemisphere. It is juxtaposed with Zhongdian snow mountain and mianmianshan mountain in the East, from Sanjiangkou in the north, and extends to 27 & deg; in the south. According to the survey, the wind force of the fire site is 2-3, the vegetation type is mixed forest of coniferous and broad-leaved, the main tree species is Pinus yunnanensis, the fire mainly spreads to the northeast, and the altitude of the fire site is 2096 meters. The eastern line and the southern line of the fire scene are respectively fought by 170 local professional fire fighting teams, and 150 local people support the fire scene operation.
By 6:30 a.m. on May 8, the north line of the fire site was 1.5km long, the south line was 2km long, and there was no open fire on the northwest line. At present, the forest fire brigade continues to fight from north to East. A total of 46 officers and men from Ninglang and Yongsheng squadrons of the brigade reinforce the fire site and are expected to arrive at the fire site assembly site at 9:00. In addition, Lijiang station of China Southern Air forest protection terminal sent two helicopters to the fire site to investigate the fire and carry out fire fighting.
