Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in Luoyang, Henan Province. It is a national AAAAA level scenic area and the core scenic area of national geopark and Daimeishan World Geopark. Longtan Grand Canyon is also the only scenic spot in Luoyang that has been selected as the 40 most beautiful scenic spots in China by CNN. So, why does Longtan Grand Canyon go bankrupt? Is Longtan Grand Canyon still open normally?
In the Longtan Grand Canyon, the waterfalls are linked to the pearls, and the beautiful valley has experienced the accumulation of time and the cutting and rotating erosion of water flow, which has formed the present wonder of gaoxiawenggu, mountain collapse and ground crack, which can be regarded as one of the best in the world. Therefore, many tourists have praised Jiuzhaigou as the first gorge in China.
But please don't confuse Longtan Grand Canyon! Because there is also a Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic Spot in Liaoning Province, but the underground Canyon in Liaoning Province is formed by the geological fault zone in the west of Liaoning Province, which is known as the Little Tibet in the north, but it is different from the Longtan Grand Canyon in Henan Province!
Since Longtan Grand Canyon was not called by this name before, it was also called "Longtan Canyon" in 2009. After continuous development and expansion, it was officially renamed as Longtan Grand Canyon in 2009.
In this scenic spot, the most famous one, of course, is the U-shaped Canyon formed by the purple red quartz sandstone cut down by the flowing water, which is also the reason why Longtan gorge is named. With a total length of 12 kilometers, the canyon is full of clouds, red walls and green shades. In addition to the water cutting and rotary erosion in different periods, the wave mark and great cliff formed by giant collapse rock blocks are also unique, which is very rare at home and abroad.
In addition to Longtan gorge, there are six natural mysteries, seven secluded pools waterfalls and eight natural wonders in Longtan Grand Canyon, all of which are challenging our visual wonders. Narrow ditches and deep valleys, red rock cliffs, strange rocks and green shade, waterfalls and secluded pools constitute the world's rare landscape gallery.
There are many wonderful legends and stories in this canyon and amazing landscape. It's like the stele of heaven formed by the dagger of Erlang God killing the little white dragon. It's called the stele of sky holding dagger. The imperial aunt who came here to escape from the war in the Eastern Han Dynasty is the legend of the imperial aunt. There's also the legend of Luo Binwang who fought against Wu Zetian. After the war, he escaped from the houming cliff in the deep of Longtan gorge. However, where the soul of Luo Binwang came from remains to be verified.
In fact, it is not uncommon for scenic spots in China to be delisted. For example, Shanhaiguan scenic spot was delisted for fraud in the past few years. But it's not uncommon to see such a scenic spot as Longtan Grand Canyon, because it's the first 5A scenic spot to go bankrupt because of bankruptcy!

Longtan Daxia valley was founded by the resignation of deputy county magistrate of Xin'an County. He was Chen Jianlin (late), the former chairman of Luoyang Wanshan Lake Tourism Co., Ltd., who declared bankruptcy this time. Chen Jianlin's life is closely linked with the Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic spot. He used folk loans to support this large-scale scenic spot, and also made the Longtan Grand Canyon a quite successful private 5A scenic spot.
However, with the death of the chairman of the board of directors, behind the proud tourism resources and prosperous business scene of Longtan Grand Canyon, there are huge debts and lawsuits. In the end, Longtan grand canyon had to go into bankruptcy and reorganization according to the law.
Although the Longtan Grand Canyon went bankrupt, it did not prevent our tourists from entering. However, due to the lack of maintenance in some parts of the scenic area, it is no longer the original Shengxiang.
However, it is said that in the first two days, the Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic Area created a 125 meter dragon boat five color banquet to welcome the Dragon Boat Festival. It is worth mentioning that until the Dragon Boat Festival, visitors there can enjoy the "hundred meter dragon boat five color feast" for free, as well as the sachet and other souvenirs for free. It's not hard to see that Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic area still wants to restore the bustle of the past.
