Longmen Grottoes, one of the four largest Grottoes in China, is located on Longmen Mountain and Xiangshan cliff in the south suburb of Luoyang City, Henan Province, China. Built in the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, there are 2345 caves, more than 100000 statues and 2800 inscriptions. Among them, "Longmen twenty products" is the essence of calligraphy and Wei tablet. Zhu Suiliang's book "the monument of Yi Gu Shrine" is a model of regular script art in the early Tang Dynasty. Since ancient times, Longmen Mountain has been listed as the top eight scenic spots in Luoyang. Longmen Grottoes have a long history, many dynasties, superior geographical location, beautiful natural scenery, and many grottoes are incomparable.

1. Tour bus

In front of Luoyang railway station, there is a special tourist bus, which can reach Longmen Grottoes, Baima temple, Shaolin Temple and other places. It can go back and forth in a day. The departure time is usually 7 a.m.

2. Bus

There are three bus lines directly to Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang City, which are No. 53 (equality Street Longmen Grottoes), No. 60 (gushuixi Guanlin Longmen Grottoes) and No. 81 (Luoyang Railway Station Guanlin Longmen Grottoes).

2. Taxi

Most of the taxis in Luoyang are Xiali, starting at 6 yuan (including 3 kilometers), 1 yuan per kilometer. The taxis on Zhongzhou West Road, Zhongzhou middle road and Zhongzhou east road run in single and double numbers. Luoyang is not a big city. The taxi fare is not high in the city. It costs about 35 yuan to take a taxi from Luoyang railway station to Longmen Grottoes.
