Liangshan forest fire in Sichuan occurs in the high mountain and canyon area. The fire site has complex terrain, high mountains, steep slopes and deep valleys, with an altitude of 3500-3800 meters. In the aspect of ground air cooperation, the fire and smoke points of the fire site shall be completely cleared in the ground fire fighting under the condition of ensuring the safety of the fire fighting personnel; the combustible materials in the fire trace shall be removed in cooperation with the aerial watering operation of the helicopter to prevent the recurrence of the ashes.

In order to do a good job in the fire rescue, identity confirmation, appeasement and other related work, Liangshan Prefecture has established an emergency coordination leading group, with 11 working groups, which are respectively responsible for the disaster disposal. At present, some of the bereaved family members have arrived in Xichang, and the rest are coming one after another. The public security organs are carrying out preliminary examination, sample extraction and re examination of the bodies of the dead. The building of hero mourning hall and mourning hall of Xichang funeral home have been basically completed. After the identity of the sacrificial personnel is confirmed, mourning activities will be organized orderly.
