Tianmen Mountain, known as Yunmeng Mountain and Songliang mountain in ancient times, is the highest mountain in Yongding District, Zhangjiajie. It is 8km away from the city in the north. It is named after Tianmen cave, a natural wonder. It was first recorded in the history. The main peak is 1518.6m, which was approved as National Forest Park in July 1992. So, what must be visited in Tianmen Mountain scenic spot? How can we plan the best route for ourselves?
The scenic spot adopts the real name and time period reservation ticket system. It needs to use ID card to buy tickets and enter during the time period of buying tickets. Tickets for the day can be purchased on site, and those for adults are 258 yuan (including cableway, environmental protection car, upper half escalator) and 155 yuan (students, elderly people, officers, etc.). You can buy adult tickets online in advance (Ctrip, qunari, and other major websites have them, and they will be about 20 yuan cheaper.)
In the scenic spot, you need to pay for it at your own expense:
1. Management fee for shoe cover of glass plank road (5 yuan)
2. Tianmendong escalator (32 yuan, not recommended, you can directly climb 999 steps to the square)
3. Top sightseeing cable car (25 yuan, recommended, more exciting, beautiful scenery)
As for Tianmen Mountain scenic spot, the following points are emphasized:
TIANTI and Tianmen Cave: TIANTI is a way to send a proposition -- 999 steps. The steps are very steep. Basin friends who don't want to walk on the TIANTI can buy an escalator ticket at the escalator ticket station on the right side of the mountain gate, 32 yuan, directly to Tianmen cave.
Mountain crossing escalator: after entering Tianmen cave and walking along the plank road, there are 6 sections of mountain crossing escalator, which are very long, stand slowly, free of charge.
Glass plank road: there are 3 glass plank roads in total, 2 on the west line and 1 on the east line. There are many people going to the west line. Before you go, you can see where to buy the ticket, which saves the detour. 5 yuan / person, go in and get the special shoe cover, and then you can squeeze people to go~
Tianmen Mountain Temple: there is a Tianmen Mountain Temple on the top of the mountain. It's said that the real body of the sacrificial son is enshrined. We didn't go there if we wanted to buy another ticket.
Top forest sightseeing cableway: there is a forest sightseeing cableway from yunmengxianding to cherry bay. It's not a box type. It's a bit flustered. It's 38 yuan for a round trip. There's a restaurant in cherry bay.
Tour route: the peak tour is divided into east line and west line
East Line: it takes about 4 hours to visit from the top to the bottom. Go out on the left side of the cableway, go straight along the east line sign, pass Gongtong garden, visit panlongya glass plank road, take the escalator to Tianmen cave, climb 999 stairs to Tianmen cave square, and take the 99 turn environmental protection vehicle on Tongtian avenue for about 30 minutes to reach the place before climbing the mountain. West Line: it takes about 6 hours to visit from the top to the bottom. Go out on the right side of the lower ropeway, pass Li Na's former residence, visit the west line glass plank road, walk along the ghost Valley plank road, and you will arrive at Tianmenshan temple in about 40 minutes. After visiting Tianmenshan temple, you can spend 25 yuan to take the sightseeing cable car on the top of the mountain (the real value). After you get off the cable car, you can reach the highest point of Tianmenshan mountain, and you can climb to the top of the tower to have a look. Then walk down the left side for about 8 minutes to gongtongyuan, take the escalator, and go down to Tianmen cave. In addition: there are 3 glass plank roads on the mountain, including the east line glass plank road, the west line glass plank road and panlongya glass plank road. The total length is about 60 meters to 100 meters, and there is not much difference in scenery. You can choose freely according to your own way of sightseeing at the top of the mountain
