How high is Huashan? What are the main scenic spots of Huashan?

Huashan, also known as Jinyu mountain, is famous in ancient times. It is 197 meters above sea level. It is named Huashan because it looks like a lotus flower. An independent peak, pulled out from the ground without any attachment, goes straight into the sky. It is extremely beautiful and precipitous, green and ready to drop. It is the first of the "nine points in a row" of the spring city -- Jinan scenic spot, and the "lone peak in the sky" among the sixteen scenic spots listed in the "Licheng" by Liu Chi of the Ming Dynasty. One of the eight sceneries of ancient Jinan is the "magpie and Chinese rain". So, how high is Huashan? What are the main scenic spots of Huashan?

The best peak of Huashan Mountain is Nanfeng, with an altitude of 2154.9 meters. In the treatise on the history of the five mountains published in 1984, it is wrongly believed that 'mount Hengshan is 2017 meters above sea level, the highest mountain among the five mountains',' mount Huashan in the west is 1997 meters above sea level, ranking second among the five mountains'.

At the beginning of this century, the National Bureau of Surveying and mapping attached great importance to the high accuracy of famous mountains in China, and carried out the survey again. According to the latest measured data in 2007, the real height ranking of the five mountains is 2154.9 meters for Huashan Mountain in the west, 2016.1 meters for Hengshan Mountain in the north, 1532.7 meters for Taishan Mountain in the East, 1491.7 meters for Songshan Mountain in the middle and 1300.2 meters for Hengshan Mountain in the south.

Main scenic spots of Huashan:

1. Xiyue Temple

Xiyue temple, covering an area of 120000 square meters, was built in the early years of Yuanguang (134 BC), Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It has been repaired and constructed in all previous dynasties, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the forty second year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1777), it formed the scale pattern of today's six entry courtyard with heavy city structure. It is the largest existing royal palace imperial garden style ancient garden community in the northwest of China.

Xiyue temple is grand in scale, rigorous in layout and similar to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. It is known as the "Shaanxi Imperial Palace". It is known as "the first temple of five mountains" because of its earliest construction and largest area.

2. Jinsuoguan

Jinsuoguan is a stone arch like a city building built at sanfengkou. It's the key way to the south-east peak through Wuyun peak. After being locked, there is no way to get through.

In Du Fu's poem "watching the mountains", there is a gate between the arrow and the sky. According to Taoism, Huayue is the God's mansion of fairyland. Only after passing through the gate of Tongtian, can it enter the fairyland.

3. Canglongling

Canglongling is one of the famous dangerous roads in Huashan Mountain. It is located in the south of jiukutai and under wuyunfeng. It is named for its dark exterior and its dragon like terrain. It's like a thin blade, which makes many tourists scared. The most famous one is the story of Han Yu crying for help and causing a lot of related allusions and textual research, which also left the cultural heritage of the "South Korea retreat office".
