Where is Shuidonggou in Ningxia? Ningxia Shuidonggou suitable for whom to play?

Why is Shuidonggou in Ningxia known as China's 5A level scenic spot? Where is the water tunnel? Shuidonggou is located in Lingwu City, which is under the jurisdiction of Yinchuan City, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Although it is located in Ningxia, Shuidonggou covers an area of 14.4 square kilometers. In addition, Lingwu is just at the junction of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia. Therefore, Shuidonggou has actually become a golden tourist hub connecting inner Mongolia and Ningxia.

Although the climate of Ningxia belongs to the continental semi-arid climate, in history, Ningxia, especially the Yellow River Plain with Yinchuan as the center, has always been a land of fertile soil and lakes, so it has the reputation of "blocking the south of the Yangtze River" since ancient times. And Lingwu City, where Shuidonggou is located, is the core of "blocking the south of the Yangtze River".

Although Shuidonggou scenic spot presented in front of the author, most of the landforms still present the Loess and mounds inherent in the northwest, but it is more vivid and beautiful than the loess high slope in Yan'an. At that time, I walked in the valley for a short time, and a large area of reed land appeared in front of me. Looking at it, it was several kilometers long. Under the breeze in the valley, the reed land was rippling, and the dry mood became cool instantly.

Looking at this piece of reed field in front of me, I have a hunch that there must be a lake near here. Sure enough, not far ahead, there is a large lake in front of us. Watching the reed sway with the wind, even the author has the illusion of returning to Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou. It can be said that the warm wind makes tourists drunk and makes Lingwu Hangzhou. Later, I learned that the lake named Hongshan, though smaller than the West Lake, is more exquisite and delicate in the south of the Yangtze River.

Not only that, against the background of Shuidonggou's unique Yadan landform, we can see that on the one hand, there is a valley full of northwest desert customs, and on the other hand, there are reed marshes and lakes as beautiful as Jiangnan. I can only sigh that the name "Lingwu" is very exquisite. As the saying goes, "water is the source of life". Since there is no shortage of water in the south of the Yangtze River, it means that there is a long history and profound cultural accumulation here. Otherwise, Ningxia did not have the chance to become an important town of the ancient Silk Road, nor could it breed the Xixia Dynasty that dominated for a time. According to my later understanding, there were human activities in Shuidonggou area as early as 30000 years ago, and traces of ancient civilization had been found in the area 100 years ago.

Of course, although Shuidonggou is beautiful in the south of the Yangtze River, it is also full of the warrior spirit of the strategists. For example, here you can see the magnificent Great Wall of Ming Dynasty, the zigzag hidden cave of Tibetan soldiers of various mechanisms. They embody the frontier spirit of Lingwu incisively and vividly.
