What kind of documents do you need to take when you travel to Hong Kong?

If you want to travel to Hong Kong, you should first apply for (mainland resident's pass to Hong Kong and Macao), and then add a sign (individual travel sign (g)) or (group travel sign (L)) to travel to Hong Kong

As of January 1, 2007, the following mainland cities have been included in the (Hong Kong and Macao individual tourism plan) and can travel to Hong Kong by (Hong Kong and Macao individual tourism endorsement (g))

For other regions that can only travel to Hong Kong by (L for group tourism in Hong Kong and Macao), you can go to the travel agency where your account is located

Personal travel endorsement:

Personal travel endorsement (g) will be sent to applicants for personal travel to Hong Kong or Macau

The endorsement can be divided into four types: one in three months, two in three months, one in one year and two in one year. The duration of each stay in Hong Kong or Macao shall not exceed 7 days

(2) Application procedures:

1. Accepting authority: the entry and exit administration department of the public security (Branch) bureau of the district or county (city) where the applicant's household registration is located shall go through the application formalities

2. Submit a completed application form for mainland residents to and from Hong Kong and Macao (filled in with pen or signature pen, not ballpoint pen), and submit two color photos of a large inch (48mmx33mm) with a blue background and a bareheaded optical surface

3. Submit the original ID card and household register (only the household register is required if the applicant is under 16 years old; only the identity certificate is required for military personnel), and submit the copy

4. If the holder holds a valid pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao, the pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao shall be submitted

5. For those who have informed the Public Security Department of going abroad for record and applying for the "pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" and the endorsement of individual tourism in Hong Kong and Macao, the opinions of the unit shall be submitted according to the authority of cadre management

Other personnel do not need to submit opinions of units or police stations

6. Special tips: the applicant shall not hold two (including two) or more valid passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao at the same time, and shall not hold two (including two) or more valid endorsements of the same destination at the same time

(3) Charging standard:

Each pass for Hong Kong and Macao is 100 yuan

A valid endorsement of 20 yuan for each item

The second valid endorsement is 40 yuan for each item

(the above charge standard does not include the service charge of express mail)

(4) Processing time limit:

15 working days for the first time to apply for Hong Kong and Macao pass and endorsement;

Re application for endorsement: 10 working days.

(5) Relevant regulations:

1. With personal travel endorsement, you can leave for Hong Kong and Macao with your own license within the validity period, and you are not required to join a tour group

2. Applicants for personal travel endorsement in Hong Kong and Macao shall strictly abide by the law of the people's Republic of China on the administration of exit and entry and the relevant laws of Hong Kong and Macao. If they violate the above laws, they will be investigated and punished according to law. According to the relevant regulations, the exit Entry Administration Department of public security shall not approve the exit application of any person who violates the local laws, stays illegally, engages in illegal employment or swindles during his stay in Hong Kong or Macao

3. When mainland residents leave the country at Shenzhen or Zhuhai port with Hong Kong and Macao pass, if they find that the information and materials on the endorsement on the certificate are incorrect, they can apply to Shenzhen or Zhuhai entry exit visa office of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department for the same endorsement

4. If the pass for Hong Kong and Macao held by the mainland residents is lost or damaged in Hong Kong or Macao, they can apply to the Shenzhen or Zhuhai entry exit visa office of the Public Security Department of Guangdong Province for an entry exit pass to return to the mainland through the China Travel Agency of Hong Kong or Macao

Team travel endorsement:

The team travel endorsement (L) will be sent to the applicants who participate in the group travel to Hong Kong or Macao organized by the designated travel agency of the National Tourism Administration

(1) The team travel endorsement can be divided into four types: one in three months, two in three months, one in one year and two in one year. Each stay in Hong Kong or Macao shall not exceed 7 days

(2) Application procedures:

The opinions of the unit must be submitted according to the authority of cadre management
