Does Inner Mongolia belong to northeast or North China?

North China refers to the area in the north of China. Generally speaking, it refers to the north of Qinling Huaihe River. At present, it refers to five provincial administrative units in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in terms of politics and economy.

North China includes Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei Province, Shanxi Province and the central part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, namely, Xilingol League, Ulanchab city and Hohhot city. Generally speaking, the whole Inner Mongolia is included in North China.
