What is Sanlitun in Beijing?

Sanlitun is located in the Midwest of Chaoyang District, Beijing. It starts from Sanlitun road in the East, ends at Xindong road in the west, is adjacent to No.2 tram factory in the north and Workers Stadium North Road in the south. In Ming and Qing Dynasty, it was Daxing County of shuntianfu. As the title of the film, it generally refers to the surrounding areas of Zuojiazhuang, Chaowai Street, Hujialou and Maizidian. In 1962, the northern embassy area was built in the region, and the diplomatic apartment group was built from 1960s to 1970s. The Sanlitun area gradually developed into an important community for diplomats to live, shop and foreign affairs in China. There are 10 vertical and 12 horizontal streets and lanes in the area. New East Road and Workers Stadium East Road are part of the capital's original Yingbin Road. Commercial and service outlets are densely distributed on the west side of the east section and the north side of the west section of worker's Stadium North Road. Sanlitun Bar Street is one of the main places for night life in Beijing.

Sanlitun Bar Street is one of the most prosperous entertainment streets in Beijing. It is said that more than 40% of the bars in Beijing are clustered within 3 kilometers around Sanlitun, which means that the scale of about 200 bars is a place frequented by foreigners living in Beijing and domestic celebrities. Every night, the lights are red, the people are bustling, and the streamer reflects the noise and luxury of the metropolis. For a long time, Sanlitun Bar Street always gives people a feeling of "seeing flowers in fog". No one can see its real face clearly, and no one can give it the next accurate business positioning.

To the north of bar street is the embassy district. Because of its great fame, some foreign embassies have changed the number of the front door from Sanlitun road to Sanlitun Bar Street. The business hours of bar street are from afternoon to early morning of the next day.

Every day many foreigners come here by car or taxi, especially in the evening, foreigners will flock here in groups. Not only foreigners are willing to come here, but many Chinese also invite customers or friends here. Use it as a place for communication.

However, pay attention to the bar street is full of soliciting childcare, and be careful of 'being slaughtered'!

However, there are still many restaurants, bars and small shops worth visiting in the middle of the north and South District of taiguli in Sanlitun.
