Since 2018, all 32 glass trestle projects in 25 scenic spots in Hebei Province have been closed, and many other provinces are also carrying out safety investigation and stopping high-risk projects. Once shut down, the profit margin will drop precipitously. In this case, the glass projects already in operation will be more frantic to "solicit customers" in order to make more money in a short time, and the negligence of maintenance and management may make the projects that are not very safe more dangerous.

It's not a healthy operation state to be afraid of problems or wait until problems arise. In fact, under the dual effects of windfall profits and regulatory vacuum, it's difficult for the glass trestle project to stop. Ensuring safety is the bottom line of glass trestle projects. To keep this bottom line, efforts should be made in construction design, daily maintenance and operation management.
