Ten thousand ice eggs on Finnish Beach

Recently, on the beach of hailuotuo Island, Finland, many 'ice eggs' of the same size are rarely seen. The surface of these ice eggs is very smooth and neatly arranged on the beach, attracting many tourists to watch. According to local residents, this kind of "ice egg" appeared for the first time in his life.

Hailuotuo Island, located in the northernmost part of the Baltic Sea, has seen a rare anomaly recently. Many round and milky ice hockey balls appear on the beach out of thin air. Under the sunlight, they are like large pieces of 'ice eggs'. It is said that these 'ice eggs' are neatly laid on the ground, as if they were made by human beings, and the range is as high as several square miles.

The reason for the formation of ice eggs

When people feel shocked, they also wonder why there are so many ice eggs all of a sudden? How are these ice eggs formed? Joni middot, a glacier expert at the Institute of Meteorology in Finland; Jouni Vainio explained that although these 'frozen eggs' are indeed rare, their appearance is entirely scientific.

Vanio said that the emergence of "ice egg" requires a rare combination of air and water conditions close to the freezing point. Under such conditions, ice slowly gathers around small objects similar to condensation nodules. It can be a piece of broken ice, a small stone or even a small piece of drift. Under the right wind conditions, they are polished into smooth spheres by the waves.

Vanio also stressed that this kind of spectacle can only last for a short period of time, and then either melts or condenses into a large piece of ice. By then, one by one 'ice eggs' will no longer be seen.
