Is it fun to visit the White House? White House travel taboo to remember!

We all know that the White House is the center of power in the United States, but it is not as mysterious as people think. If people want to visit the White House, they can submit an application for public visit. So, when can the White House go? What are the taboos of White House Tourism?

These self-service tours are open from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (except for federal holidays or otherwise specified). According to the official schedule of the White House, travel time will be extended as long as possible. Tours are arranged on a first come first served basis. Applications can be submitted up to three months in advance and at least 21 days in advance. If you want to visit the White House and are a foreign citizen, please contact your embassy in DC Washington for assistance in submitting your travel request.

White House travel contraband contraband includes but is not limited to the following items:

video recorder

A handbag, schoolbag, backpack or purse

Food, beverages, tobacco products, personal beauty products (cosmetics, lotions, etc.)

Walker

Any sharp weapon

Aerosol containers

Guns, ammunition, pyrotechnics, electroshock guns, maces, martial arts weapons / instruments or knives of any size

Since July 1, 2015, smart phones and compact cameras with lens no more than 3 inches (static cameras only) can be used on public tourism routes without affecting other tourists' enjoyment of tourism.

Cameras, including any action camera, detachable lens camera, tablet computer, tripod, single leg frame and camera pole, are prohibited.

During the journey, it is not allowed to take photos or live broadcast, chat on mobile phones or send text messages.

The secret service reserves the right to prohibit the carrying of any other personal belongings. Umbrellas, wallets, car keys and mobile phones (including those with cameras) can be carried. However, the white house does not allow guests to use mobile phones. The phones used by the White House could be confiscated by the secret service.

Please note that there are no storage facilities in or around the park. Individuals who bring prohibited items into the White House will not be allowed to enter the White House.

White House travel parking

The nearest subway stations to the White House are federal triangle (blue and orange lines), Metro Center (blue, orange and red lines), and McPherson square (blue and orange lines). There is no roadside parking near the White House, and public transport is strongly encouraged. The nearest bathroom to the White House is the oval Pavilion (the park in the south of the White House). There is no bathroom or pay phone in the White House.

White House travel inconvenience / wheelchair

Visitors who wish to borrow a wheelchair should inform the official at the entrance of the visitors upon arrival. Unfortunately, booking is not possible. Visitors with wheelchair or other mobility difficulties use the same entrance and are escorted by ramp from the entrance floor to the ground floor, and take the elevator from the ground floor to the state floor.
