This is the best place to visit a real scenic spot. The most amazing time is at sunset in the afternoon. You can see a very beautiful scene.

Dunhuang west route (Yangguan Yumenguan Yadan)
The western line of Dunhuang is full of Chinese cultural symbols. As the city of pass to the western regions, Yangguan and Yumen pass have always been the dividing points of the poet's parting.
Yumenguan Yadan (7:30-12:00)
Yumenguan is a scenic spot passing by on qiangyadan road. Now there is only a small square city and Museum rammed with loess. In addition to Guancheng, there is the best preserved Great Wall of Han Dynasty in China in the distance.

Starting from Yumenguan, you will arrive at the wind eroded black Gobi and Yadan Geopark in Dunhuang. With the change of sunset, the unique shape of yadanli also becomes a little soft. Buses in the scenic area will stop at four scenic spots: Golden Lion, Sphinx, peacock and West Sea fleet. The whole journey takes about 2 hours, but the tourist facilities inside the scenic area are not recommended.
Tips: it's about 400 yuan if you don't charter a bus to Yangguan. If you choose carpooling, the tour time and scenic spots are relatively fixed, but it will be more convenient. The whole day of the western route takes a long time. It's suggested that you bring some fruit snacks.
Yangguan (14:00-16:00)
Yangguan is a place where the sun is burning whenever you go. To enter the scenic spot, you have to pass through the modern Yangguan city and take the bus to the sunshine beacon (historic site). Here you can see two oases in the north and the south. At present, they are full of Yangguan vines. To the south of Nanhu Township, you will encounter the reservoir in the Gobi, wowa pool.
Arrival: Yangguan is 60 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang. It costs about 260 yuan to go to Yangguan by car alone. You can visit it together with xiqianfo cave and the ancient city of Dunhuang
