Wechat payment responds to Nepal's ban on overseas travel

On May 21, in response to Nepal's ban on wechat payment, wechat responded that wechat payment has been severely cracked down on overseas illegal collection by technical means. For many overseas tourists, we must be careful!

According to foreign media reports, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) officially announced that WeChat payment and Alipay payment were prohibited in Nepal, and they said that because of the illegal use of these payment applications by Chinese tourists, China's overseas revenues had been greatly eroded.

It is reported that Chinese citizens will not circulate through banks in Nepal when they trade locally, so Nepalese authorities can not define the consumption of Chinese tourists as overseas income. At the same time, it also means that Chinese businessmen can earn profits without paying taxes, so the Nepalese authorities consider this payment method illegal.
